Church at Taizé

This place,
This sacred space,
Is burning amber.

Manifold candles flicker
In honeycombed adoration
to the Saviour.

Fragments of indigo,
Red, orange, gold,
Adorn the room in splendour.

Mixed in Your Light,
In broken glass,
There is blessing.

In stillness,
let this radiant gift
Turn inwards on our brokenness.
Let our hearts burn within us
For You.
